Acceptance

By using HowYouLoveMe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use HowYouLoveMe. By creating an account or using the service anonymously, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

The Service

HowYouLoveMe is a relationship reflection tool that helps partners compare connection styles and receive AI-generated insights. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or mental health treatment.

AI-Generated Content

AI insights are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) and are for informational and reflective purposes only. They do not constitute professional relationship advice, counseling, therapy, or mental health guidance. You should not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional help. Analyses are available at three quality tiers (Standard, Enhanced, and Premium), each using a different AI model. The quality and depth of analysis may vary between tiers.

User Conduct

You agree to use the service respectfully. Do not submit abusive, threatening, or harmful content. Do not attempt to access other users' sessions without their invitation.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (rankings, scores, explanations). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our systems and third-party providers (Firebase, Anthropic) solely to deliver the service.

Data & Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data and can delete it at any time from the dashboard.

Third-Party Services

HowYouLoveMe uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and storage, Anthropic for AI analysis, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, and Google AdSense for advertising. Your use is subject to their respective terms of service.

Purchases & Payments

HowYouLoveMe offers the following purchasable features. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorize Chanda Apps LLC to charge the payment method you provide.

  • AI Analysis: Each check-in session includes one free Standard (Haiku) analysis. Additional analyses and higher-tier models (Enhanced, Premium) are available for a fee. Pricing varies by model and whether it is the first or a subsequent analysis.
  • Check-In Credits: After your free check-in(s), additional check-ins require credits, which can be purchased in bundles at volume discounts.
  • Ad-Free Experience: Any purchase (analysis or check-in credits) permanently removes all advertisements from your account. This benefit is tied to your account and is non-transferable.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to future purchases only, not to transactions already completed.

Refund Policy

Because AI analyses are generated instantly and check-in credits are consumed upon use, all sales are generally final. However, we want you to be satisfied:

  • If the analysis failed to generate due to a technical error, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If you believe the analysis was substantially incomplete or defective, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • Refunds are not available simply because you disagree with the content of the analysis, as AI-generated insights are subjective by nature.
  • Unused check-in credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if no credits from that bundle have been used.

To request a refund, email support@howyouloveme.com with your session details and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. Upon deletion: your user profile and login credentials are permanently removed; your questionnaire responses are disassociated from your identity but may remain in completed sessions so as not to disrupt other participants' results; any unused check-in credits are forfeited and are not refundable after account deletion; and your ad-free status is non-recoverable. Account deletion is irreversible.

Availability

We strive to keep the service available but make no guarantees of uptime. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

HowYouLoveMe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Chanda Apps LLC does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chanda Apps LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service, any decisions made based on AI-generated insights, any actions taken or not taken based on content generated by the service, or any conduct of other users.

In no event shall the total liability of Chanda Apps LLC exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to Chanda Apps LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chanda Apps LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit through the service.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of HowYouLoveMe will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. You also waive any right to a jury trial. The arbitration shall take place in the State of California. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If any part of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall still apply. Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
